SUMP Izmir 2nd Stakeholder Engagement Workshop was held

Second Stakeholder Engagement Workshop was held within the scope of EU Support to Izmir Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (İzmir SUMP) project, The workshop took place at IzQ Innovation Center, on August 28, 2024. Mobility requirements, future planning, necessary arrangements and solutions were discussed with the aim of improving the quality of life in the city.

Zeki Yıldırım - Deputy Secretary General, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yalçın Alver - Advisor to the Mayor, Dr. Tolga Çilingir - Head of Transport Department from Izmir Metropolitan Municipality; Kubilay Atlay, Contract Manager at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, Directorate General for EU Affairs and Foreign Relations, EU Investments Department, Dr. Göktuğ Kara, Transport Policy and Climate Change Team Coordinator at the EU Delegation to Türkiye, representatives of public institutions, professional associations and non-governmental organizations, representatives of the private sector; faculty members and bureaucrats of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality participated to the workshop.
