The project is a natural progress of the İstanbul SUMP Stage I activity, which forms the basis for the implementation of a wide range of sustainable urban mobility solutions in İstanbul and aims to achieve the main SUMP objectives. It aims to provide technical assistance by contributing to livability and sustainability in the city by providing safe, clean, accessible and affordable transportation to İstanbul. It includes analyzing the current mobility and transportation situation, developing an activity-based transportation model, detailing the policies and actions to be implemented, and preparing a project line for SUMP, compatible with, but not limited to, the İstanbul SUMP Stage I project study.
