EU Support to İzmir Urban Sustainable Mobility Plan (İzmir SUMP)

It aims to define policies and actions to be implemented regarding, but not limited to, transportation systems. Other objectives are that these policies and interventions which are well structured in İzmir’s medium-long term vision will encourage sustainable mobility, increase the use of non-motorized methods of travelling, shared mobility and public transportation; ease the transition from individual means of travelling and contribute to decarbonization, decreasing congestion and other negative impacts caused by private vehicle use.
