The 5th Meeting of the SUMP Turkey Project Steering Committee

The 5th Meeting of the SKUP Turkey Project Steering Committee Was Held on March 19, 2025!

The fifth meeting of the SKUP Turkey Project Steering Committee, opened by Dr. Şengül ALTAN ARSLAN, Deputy Secretary General of the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB), was held.

In addition to Serdar YILMAZ, Head of the Contract Management Unit at the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, and Dr. Göktuğ KARA, Coordinator of the Transport Policy and Climate Change Team at the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey, representatives from the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, the Ministry of Trade, the Directorate for EU Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and İLBANK also attended the meeting.

Following the opening speeches, a presentation was delivered by Dr. Wolfgang BACKHAUS, Project Director of SKUP Turkey. Afterwards, Dr. Volkan Recai ÇETİN, Team Leader of SKUP Turkey, and Ayşe SARP GÜR, Key Expert for the Communication Component of SKUP Turkey, provided detailed information on the current status of the project and upcoming activities. The meeting concluded with evaluations and suggestions from the participants.
