SUMP İzmir Mobility and Awareness Training

Within the scope of SUMP İzmir Project, a three-day training on “Mobility Awareness” was organized by Dr. Susanne Böhler-Baedeker, SUMP Izmir 2nd Key Expert, with the participation of experts from the relevant departments and subsidiaries of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and relevant district municipalities.

The training covered “Understanding Mobility Awareness and Concepts for Designing Policy Interventions” and “Campaigns and Measures to Influence Mobility Behavior”. Participants worked in interactive sessions on the design of mobility policies, sustainable transport solutions and strategies to promote behavioral change.

In the online session on the last training day, Pascal Fuhr from senf.app presented their website. Ayşe Sarp Gür and Özde Dereli from SUMP Turkey presented “SUMP Turkey: How Did SUMP Turkey Build a Social Marketing Infrastructure with Digital Marketing Communication?” contributed to the training with their presentation.
