Guideline Training for Sustainable Urban Transport

Within the scope of SUMP Izmir Project, a three-day training on “Navigating EU Legislation and Frameworks for Sustainable Urban Mobility – Perspectives for Izmir” was organized by Irina Lupusor, International Law and Legislation Expert, with the participation and contributions of experts from relevant departments and subsidiaries of Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and relevant district municipalities.

The training covered relevant EU legislation, frameworks, financing mechanisms and best practice examples to guide the development and implementation of SUMP Izmir, promoting sustainability and innovation in urban mobility. Throughout the training, different aspects of SUMP Izmir's components were discussed and interactive practical activities were carried out.
