4th Transportation Modeling Training

The fourth and the last one of our transport modeling trainings, SUMP Izmir Activity Based Model (ABM) Training, was held by the model team of Parabol, Prof. Dr. Hediye Tüydeş, Tuğsan Doğa Evren and Baran Topçuoğlu, and with the contributions of Carolina Ramos from Panteia.

The aim of the training was to provide detailed information on the components of transport modeling and the SUMP Izmir ABM, as well as to enable the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality team to effectively use the ABM developed within the scope of SUMP Izmir and to improve their competencies through the hands-on activities included in the training.The hands-on activities included growth forecasting, changes in future reference years and their implementation in the model, and scenario development using SUMP Izmir ABM and implementation of demonstrative scenarios in the model.
