3rd Stakeholder Engagement Workshop

The 3rd and final Stakeholder Engagement Workshop of Izmir Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP Izmir) was held with the theme “From Strategy to Action”. The workshop started with the opening speeches from Aslıhan Tekin, Transportation Planning Branch Manager of Transportation Department at Izmir Metropolitan Municipality and Dr. Tolga Çilingir, Head of Transportation Department at Izmir Metropolitan Municipality.

Following the opening speeches, Prof. Dr. Ela Babalık, Team Leader of the Project Consortium, gave an informative comprehensive presentation on the “Measure List Formulation Process”.

The workshop continued with breakout groups organized in two sessions. The workshop, which was realized with the active engagement of stakeholders and efforts to produce common solutions, has brought Izmir one step closer to its sustainable transportation goals.
